Oompaloompa Sunscreen-Skin food that protects you from the sun!

Red Palm Oil for Healthy Skin

Why Red Palm Oil? Red palm oil also provides powerful protection from UV rays, due to the presence of carotenoids. It is the pigment that gives carrots, sweet potatoes, and tomatoes their color. When the oil soaks in, it protects the skin down to the cellular level. red palm oil consists of a nutrient called CoQ10, which is a natural compound present in our body. This CoQ10 acts as an antioxidant and contributes to anti-aging effects. As we age, the levels of CoQ10 decrease, so using red palm oil for skin can increase its level that will protect the skin and help enhance collagen and elasticity.

Beeswax on Skin

Why Beeswax? beeswax is the perfect ingredient to give products like sunscreen a more solid texture. It also gives the sunscreen waterproofing power. So, if you’re planning a day at the beach this sunscreen should stay on in the water as well as most sunscreens.

Tallow Benefits

Why Tallow? Tallow is naturally anti-aging because it helps your skin heal and repair, helping keep your skin more youthful! It naturally has an SPF of4. It is light enough to absorb quickly into the skin. Plus, it’s loaded with vitamins A, D, E and K, antioxidants and essential fatty acids not commonly found in modern day skin care or sunscreens.

Non-Nano Zinc for Skin

Why Non-Nano Zinc? Zinc oxide is a white, powdery mineral with a longstanding history for its sun protection benefits. It’s one of the main active ingredients you’ll find in mineral, or physical, sunscreen. Rather than soaking into the skin, like chemical sunscreens, zinc sits on top of your skin and protects you by scattering and reflecting the sun’s rays. It essentially works much like a mirror.

So why am I calling it Oompaloompa? Because you will look a little orange! That is the effect of the red palm oil combined with the zinc. This is great because we all know, or should know by now, that sunscreen needs reapplied. So, by applying Oompaloompa you will see where it is, where it’s not and when you should reapply. This is the go for a hike, go for a bike, ride your horse (please pay attention horsey friends) or lay by the pool sunscreen. This will feed your skin and protect your skin, and let you enjoy the sunshine.

Oompaloompa will be available at the office as well as the body butter. For info on the body butter and why you should be using it
