E-Visit is now available for Stefanie’s patients.

A great way to get a refill on a prescription, or get a new prescription if you can’t get into the office to see Stefanie.

Dr Stephanie Maass

At times, I’ve had the privilege of extending medical assistance to friends and patients through text or telephone, tailoring my approach to the described conditions. It brings me immense satisfaction to offer convenience by addressing medical concerns and prescribing medications over the phone. However, it’s essential to highlight that delivering this service entails time, and adherence to licensing regulations necessitates meticulous documentation of a patient’s medical treatment in an official medical chart.

To comply with the stringent requirements set by the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA), enacted by Congress to safeguard your health information, I am obligated to disclose the methods employed to use and protect your health data. This information must be made available to patients, who in turn must acknowledge and consent to these terms.

In light of these considerations, effective immediately, all prospective patients seeking an e-visit are required to complete the necessary medical documentation and agree to specific HIPAA terms and conditions. To facilitate this process and offset the time invested, a nominal fee of $75 is requested. This fee covers not only the cost of my time but also the implementation of this service. When weighed against the inconvenience of securing an appointment at an urgent care facility, retail clinic, or waiting for a slot with your primary care physician, this service prioritizes your convenience while ensuring compliance with licensing and medical board regulations.

The E-Visit service encompasses a range of urgent care options tailored to meet your needs, including:

  1. Medication refills for established prescriptions (e.g., when you’re out of blood pressure medications and can’t see your doctor for over a month).
  2. Management of uncomplicated urinary tract infections (e.g., recurring infections without fever, nausea, or vomiting).
  3. Trigger point injections for pain relief.
  4. Intravenous (IV) fluids for rehydration.
  5. Treatment for simple lacerations.
  6. Addressing sinus infections persisting for more than 10 days.

To initiate an E-Visit, simply request the service, and upon notification via email, I will promptly contact you. Embrace the future of healthcare – accessible, efficient, and tailored to your needs!
