Medical Mission Trip to Guatemala

As many of my regular patients know, I will be heading out on my very first medical mission trip to Guatemala this month. I will be out of the office from January 11th through January 17th as I participate in this incredible humanitarian effort.

About the Medical Mission
I am honored to be joining International Medical Relief and a team of qualified volunteer medical professionals to provide essential healthcare services in some of the most impoverished regions of Guatemala.
During this mission, we will be treating a wide range of medical conditions—many of which are entirely treatable with access to proper care, medications, and medical supplies. We will be bringing these critical resources directly to communities that otherwise have very limited access to healthcare.
Beyond immediate medical treatment, we will also be providing education and support to patients and local healthcare workers. This knowledge and outreach will continue to benefit the community long after we return home.
In addition to medical care, our mission includes community health classes, humanitarian outreach, and compassionate support. While one week is not enough time to treat everyone in need, it is enough time to plant seeds of hope, education, and healing for a brighter future.
I am incredibly grateful for the opportunity to serve and to give back in this way. Thank you all for your continued support, understanding, and encouragement as I take part in this meaningful journey.
